December 27, 2010 - Follow this link to view a table presenting the number of Cholera cases seen as well as the number of those who have died. These statistics are between the dates of November 8th to December 24th.
December 20, 2010 - Actionnel states, "Governmental Officials estimate that about 2,000 + lives have been destroyed by cholera. But, the truth is that there are more 8,000 cases that have not been reported. These died in their homes or in the streets or on the roads going to the fields or going to markets."
November 28, 2010 - Actionnel draws a parallel between the plight of the people of Haiti and the Children of Israel positing the real possibility that God is raising up a "Moses" for Haiti at this moment.
November 27, 2010 - Actionnel brings us up to date about the Cholera epidemic with the good news that Doctors Without Borders from France have been present in the community and are sending in 5 nurses to assist the very tired 5 nurses and Faustin. These new professionals will allow the others to get some much needed rest.
November 21, 2010 - Actionnel shares with us about the beginnings of the Cholera Epidemic and what is happening at Bayonnais through OFCB Ministries on behalf of those who are very ill.
October 11, 2010 - Actionnel tells about their adopted daughter Marie-Ange who has been hospitalized due to Tuberculosis (TB). She lost her both her father and mother to this dreaded disease - a disease which is rampant in the Bayonnais valley. Marie-Ange is in the hospital where she will remain for approximately two more months. As of today's date Actionnel says that she is doing well. Actionnel & Yolanda are bearing this expense. Should you wish to assist, directions for giving to this fund are at the bottom of the flier (PDF format). [This fund sponsorship is through Christ Fellowship Community Church in Gastonia, N.C. only.]
February 8, 2010 - Actionnel writes his first letter to friends of OFCB Ministries since the earthquake that devastated Haiti on January 12, 2010.
December 2, 2009 - Actionnel addresses the Friends of OFCB Ministries in Charlotte, NC. This was a very important meeting as the spill over group heard the absolute necessity for our getting better organized in our support of the ministry in Haiti. Much was accomplished. In addition to Actionnel's addressing the group, Dimilsaint shared his heart with us through an interpreter ─ a man who is a God-send to us, Rev. Eddy Legger, a native of Haiti and a pastor of a Haitian Church in Charlotte. God is doing great things and you will be reading more about it soon. It was so sad hearing Actionnel speak of there not being enough money to pay the teacher's salaries for three months this fall. There is a great need for our enlisting 3000 children sponsors whose gifts would do so much in supporting the ministry. There are only 1,775 children in the school.
December 2, 2009 - Read this exciting report presented by Rev. Eddy Ledger the Project Manager Coordinator for the Medical Clinic. This committee isn't waiting for the Medical Clinic building to be complete before starting this "must have" project of ministering to the physical needs of the people. Did you know that this clinic will be the "only" Medical Clinic in the mountains of Bayonnais where 80,000 people live. (PDF File)

November 19, 2009 - Engineers without Borders has won a prestigious award primarily for their work in Bayonnais, Haiti. This is very interesting reading and we all are so grateful for these fine people for their untiring efforts in helping the people of Bayonnais as well as other places in the world. Thank you EWB.
October 28, 2009 - View a spread sheet of the new enrolment at the OFCB Ministries School in Bayonnais, Haiti. Get ready for you are going to be amazed at what God is doing in Bayonnais. However, we are having to "extend" the geography to a remote village called Nicolas. There OFCB Ministries has established a satellite school that already has 259 children enrolled. In addition to this, the OFCB Church is sending "missionaries" to the church in Nicolas to help minister to these people who, regrettably, are in deeper poverty then are the people of Cathor (Cathor is where the main church and school are located. Bayonnais is the name for the larger mountain community of 80,000 people.). I (BB) wish to congratulate the church and school staff for having a mind for missions even though their needs are so desperate. At the bottom of the page is a special message from Headmaster and Pastor, Rev. Actionnel Fleurisma.
October 14, 2009 - Click here to read the full color, 22 page Medical Clinic Report from the Engineers Without Borders, San Francisco, CA. This booklet concludes many hours, days, weeks, months, and years of volunteer work by this outstanding group of professionals who have a burden for the people of Bayonnais, Haiti. They have made several trips to Bayonnais surveying the needs for a medical clinic in Bayonnais. Their research is absolutely first class. Indeed, the set of building plans that they have here presented has the potential of becoming a template for similar projects throughout the country. We the Friends of OFCB Ministries express our profound gratitude for these engineers and their voluntary gift to the work in Bayonnais (PDF file).

November 18, 2007 - Careers in Bayonnais and Gonaives, Haiti - For a long time, it has been obvious that the classes in the upper end of the high school would eventually become large. The 11th grade now has 78 students (13th grade is the last year). As the bubble of larger classes rose to and through 9th grade, and is approaching 12th grade, the National Exams in 9th and 12th are becoming stumbling blocks to a greater number of students. The inevitable result is dropouts, for they cannot advance to 10th or 13th grades without passing the exams. Trades will be part of the answer for these students.
